Joel had the great opportunity to go see his French Grandma, Mamie de France, in Alsace, Eastern France. His Grandma is in the hospital right now and for the first time Joel was able to speak to her in French. She doesn't speak English and they obviously never were able to communicate very well before. How amazing is that?

Joel and his Mamie de France
Joel had the great opportunity to go see his French Grandma, Mamie de France, in Alsace, Eastern France. His Grandma is in the hospital right now and for the first time Joel was able to speak to her in French. She doesn't speak English and they obviously never were able to communicate very well before.
